AP budget directly or indirectly allocated Rs 235 billion for the development of Hyderabad. It comes after the World Bank announced the Hyderabad city as the best in India to do and invest in the business, reports CNBC-TV18.

AP budget focused on irrigation and housing |

AP Finance Minister K. Rosaiah on Monday presented the budget for 2007-08 that has no new taxes. The overall spending in the resulting financial year will be Rs.809.96 billion; comprising Rs.480.23 billion under non-plan and Rs.329.73 billion under plan.
