| BJP to announce first list today |

State BJP president Bandaru Dattatreya has said clean governance and creation of infrastructure in tune with the increasing demands of the city are the focus areas of the party in the elections to the Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC). Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, Dattatreya said the first list of candidates would be released tomorrow. But he refused to disclose the number of candidates in the first list. As of now 107 applications have been received by the party for 72 wards in Greater Visakha. Dattatreya said the BJP would go it alone even in the next Assembly elections in the State without having any alliance with other parties.             |
