In a robbery, two armed assailants took 14
persons hostage and stole nearly Rs 3.5 lakh cash from an eSeva centre at Road
No 7, Banjara Hills on the evening 8 o' clock ,23rd June. The 20-minute hold-up came to an end as private
security personnel, without an inkling of the happenings inside, walked into the
eSeva centre to collect cash from the facility. The security personnel tried to
thwart the robbers, but in the melee suffered minor injuries. The assailants
opened fired to scare their captives and fled with the cash.
