Yamadonga's satellite rights for 1.75 crores? |

As per cine sources it is reported that MAA TV purchased the satellite rights of Yamadonga for a record Rs.1.75 crores after beating the competition from Zee TV. This is the kind of confidence the trade circles showing on the S.S.Rajamouli and NTR Jr. combo. The centre of business attraction for producers at present, is the sale of satellite rights, which crossed the Rs. 1 crore mark last year. Zee TV purchased Stalin, Aadavari Maatalaku Ardhalu Verule, Munna and Dubai Seenu for Rs. 1.50, 1.40, 1.30 and 1.20 crores respectively.
Those days are gone for the producers that they only depended on box-office collections alone, now producers can get back good returns on their investments through sale of rights of Audio, VCD, DVD, Satellite Telecast and Internet Viewing (in future). All said and done, with the growing tussle between TV Channels to buy film telecast rights, the producers can heave a sigh of rich relief.
