 Popular pop singer Baba Sehgal will soon make a pop album in Telugu. The singer is well known for his song "Roop Tera Masthaana.." in Chiranjeevi's film Rikshavaadu. He has also sung for the film Roja.When media asked about his choice of a Telugu album, he said, “I got recognition with my only Telugu song. I have always found Telugu people very creative”. He added he got many offers from Telugu film industry to do songs, but could not do so as he was abroad doing stage shows. “I missed a lot of Telugu and Tamil films during that time. I think it was a big mistake,” said Sehgal adding that he now wanted to do a Telugu album. About the album, he said there were eight songs in it. Shobha Reddy penned the lyrics. Asked about the non- Telugu singers, who change the meaning of the lyrics, when they sing Telugu songs, Sehgal said, “When you are singing a song you should know the meaning of the lyrics. Then only you can sing more meaningfully. Now it’s going to be a challenging task for me to learn Telugu and do the rap album in Telugu. I am sure I will succeed in it with the help of people here”.             |
