CPM Leaders and Media person also to be blamed for Deaths apart from police? |

The communist party leaders are raising a hue and cry over the death of six people in police firing at Mudigonda on Sunday. But many independent observers feel that some of the deaths could have been actually avoided if only the leaders had shown some compassion towards the injured and rushed them to the hospital immediately. But that however did not happen. The leaders sensed an opportunity to embarrass the government, carried the injured to the collectorate and sat on a dharna there.
The injured were bleeding profusely and had they been rushed to the hospital instead of being paraded on the roads, many of them would have survived. Even the media was seen to be inhuman when it came to helping the injured. Many of them were busy filming the injured and looking for the best-shot and bite, when a helping hand would have saved many a life. Duty is one thing but helping a person in distress is a sacred duty much above the call of duty. But unfortunately the media failed to lend a helping hand to the injured at Mudigonda.
