 Devi Sri Prasad, known for his lively performances on the stage shows and as good music director in Tollywood, is likely to don the mantle of a hero. He entered the film industry as a music director and soon established his position by giving chartbusters like Shankardada MBBS, Varsham, Bommarillu etc.As per sources that a writer by name Purushottam has prepared a story in the backdrop of music & dance, he also approached Devi Sri and even convinced him that he alone would do the justice to the story. As per source they are looking out for craze and young heroine for this movie. In the past, another top music director R. P Patnaik too had jumped on to the screen as hero with Seenu Vasanthi Lakshmi, a remake of a Malayalam film which bombed at box office. Later Patnaik almost faded out as a music director.
