Sanjay Dutt moves to Supreme Court E-mail
sanjayyerawada_280.jpgSanjay Dutt has filed a petition in the Supreme Court challenging his jail term. His lawyers filed an application in the apex court on Tuesday challenging Dutt's conviction by the TADA court.

A special TADA court in Mumbai had last week (July 31) sentenced Dutt to six years in jail in the 1993 Mumbai blasts case. He was convicted for illegally possessing guns and is currently at the Yerawada jail in Pune.

Reports indicate that eminent lawyer Fali Nariman is likely to argue Dutt's case.
