The film made on Amigos Creations banner and entire shooting was done at the beautiful campus of CBIT, an educational institute, at city outskirts. Director Sekhar Kammula himself was a former student of Chaitanya Bharati Institute of Technology (CBIT). The music of the film is may be released on 12th or 14th of August through BIG MUSIC for the first time in Telugu cinema. Some of the corporate groups like FM radio, Reliance and Pantaloons have become partners in the movie’s production. “The movie is just going to be spectacular,” Kammula repeatedly asserted.

Sekhar Kammula initiated the introduction of the cast with a humble recalling of the experiences he had with the project Happy Days ever since it began in November last year through February this year to actual grounding. He said there was immense response from the applicants from all over the world. Of the 20,000 applications, only seven were picked up. It was all a tiresome exercise but executed with extraordinary perfection.

Highlight of the movie is the introduction of seven new faces – three girls and four boys. Of course, Tamanna of Sree fame remains the regular cast. Varun Sandesh (Chandu), Nikhil (Rajesh), Rahul (Tyson), Vamsee Krishna (Shankar), Gayatri Rao (Appu), Monali Chowdary (Sangeetha) and Sonia (Sravanti) were called onto the dais and got introduced to the press.  Mickey J. Meyer, who scored music, was also present. Tamanna, who plays one among the cast couldn't attend the event.

A trailer of Introduction of the Cast was screened to the playing of the Introduction Song – Happy Days. The gathering unanimously gave a big applause to the number.

Sekhar Kammula says "Happy Days" is  my son:

Sekhar Kammula brought an impressive comparision of his projects with human relationships. He said that Anand and Godavari were his daughters, while Happy Days was his son. "We have to be very careful in grooming a son, as there is every chance that he might go astray," he maintained. " Happy Days is going to be the real trendsetter. For the first time, the film is being made with the participation of the corporate world. This is the Present Trend. And this is going to be the Future Trend too. It is not just a movie. It is the typical piece of a Human relations project. You are going to have the lively entertainment with College Days and students. I took every care to maintain the decorum of my college CBIT all through the shoot," he maintained. He thanked Mickey. J. Meyer, for his sparkling music.

All the cast (three girls and four boys) thanked Sekhar Kammula for the opportunity on the big screen.

Mickey Meyer  composed the mucsic for this film and he said that he was associated with Kammula when "Dollar Dreams" was launched. "Now, I got a chance to work with Kammula, and I feel lucky. I hope I gave soulful music," he said.
