Chiranjeevi as director for his 150th film? |

As per cine sources that Chiranjeevi plans to direct his 150th film. This film may likely happen in 2008 and Chiranjeevi wife Surekha may produce this film. Insiders also say that as his son Charan Teja is making debut film "Chirutha", this is the right time for Chiranjeevi to direct the films. The film would be based on the life and times of Rayalaseema patriot Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy who scared the British. He was hanged by the British a full decade before the 1857 mutiny (even before Mangal Pandey) which was recorded as the first revolt against the British rule in India. Chiranjeevi was eager to play the role of Narasimha Reddy for long. Paruchuri Brothers are engaged for script work. Shankar Dada Zindabad being his 148th film there is one more film to go in between, either VV Vinayak or Gunashekar will direct his film number 149.
