Hyderabad film club and AP film Directors' Association is organizing International Film festival from March 23rd to 29th in Hyderabad. Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy will inaugurate the festival on March 22nd 2007. Film Festival will entertain the people with World Cinema, World Classics, Focus on a country, Indian Cinema, Telugu Cinema, Indian Short and Documentary Films - Competition, Seminars, Workshops, face-to-face sessions. Also, there will be seminars, workshops and interaction sessions everyday. Competition for short and documentary films is the main highlight of the festival. Awards for short and documentary films are as follows 1. Best Fiction Film (12-30 mins) - 50,000.00 2. Best Fiction Film (03-12 mins) - 25,000.00 3. Best Non-Fiction Film (12-30 mins) - 50,000.00 4. Best Non-Fiction Film (03-12 mins) - 25,000.00 Rules for the Indian Cinema, World Cinema, Short and Documentary Films submission Competition section restricted to films produced in India between January 2005 and 2006. Deadline for submission of films for World Cinema, Indian Cinema, Short and Documentary Films is set to Saturday, March 10, 2007. Festival Theaters Sensation - Insomnia, Sunshine Prasadz To be confirmed The above theaters will screen 5 shows every day. Entry to the festival screenings is strictly through Delegate passes. Venkatesa 70MM, Srinivasa 35MM in Narayanaguda will screen 4 shows every day. Entry into these 2 theaters is for public with Show passes. Some seats are alloted for Press and Delegates. Peoples' Plaza - Only evening shows and open to all. Vasavi Club Auditorium - (opposite Sensation theaters) - interaction sessions and Documentary films screenings. Passes Passes are categorized as Guests, Invitees, Press, Delegates and Organizing committee. For Delegate passes, a fee of Rs.300/- for the entire period of the festival is charged. These passes can be obtained from the festival office Sri Sarathi Studios, Ameerpet, on payment of this by Cash, and production of TWO PASSPORT SIZE PHOTOGRAPHS. These delegate passes will be disbursed from March 18th at the festival office.
