Card Rule Eased For Middle Class Houses E-mail
The government has relaxed rules for Rajiv Swagruha programme for the middle class.
At a meeting of the AP Housing Board here on Sunday, officials decided to delink ration card with applications till the time of issue of allotment letter. Under the relaxed rules even those who do not have pink ration cards can apply for houses in the programme.

Applicants need to enclose an affidavit on a Rs 10 bond paper (without notary) stating that they would produce the ration card at the time of issue of allotment letter.

Family members of a cardholder can also apply for the programme, provided they are independ ent and have their own income. Such persons also need to produce a Rs 10 bond paper (without notary) with the declaration that they would obtain a new ration card in their name and submit it to the board at a later date.

White ration card holders whose income had gone up can also apply provided they surrender the white card.
